The project#
A friend of mine started Tech4Home: at-home tech help in Dongen and the surrounding area, for things like slow wifi, sluggish laptops, printers that won’t cooperate, and help with phones and tablets. He needed a site that conveys that trust right away — personal, clear and jargon-free — and that quickly guides visitors toward a call, an e-mail or an appointment.
The approach#
The design was already made in a different environment and arrived as a set of screenshots. From those screenshots I rebuilt the site with Hugo: a simple, fast static site with the same navy-and-green house style, faithfully rebuilt in real HTML and CSS. No complicated tech needed for a service that runs on personal contact — but a clear structure with the services, the four-step process (contact, schedule, resolve, satisfied) and a contact page that’s immediately usable: phone, e-mail and a clear call to action.
