The project#
My wife Sarah runs Valdeavilla Design, a graphic design studio for brand identities, illustrations, and print and digital design. She needed a portfolio site that shows off her own work as a calling card: who she is, what she does, and a clear path to contact via e-mail or WhatsApp.
The approach#
Sarah decided on the look of the site herself as the designer; I translated that into a working Hugo site with a light and a dark mode. The page is built around a few fixed sections — About, Services and Contact — with room for her portfolio and background in Adobe tools.
